First Response Life Bikes

Responder Bikes are a new addition to the way Emergency Responders react to emergency calls to people in need. The urbanisation of our city centres makes it an ideal vehicle to respond in a rapid and safe way, and our bikes are finding that their presence is required in shopping centres, pedestrian areas in cities and at some public events.

All our bikes are supplied with panniers, and these contain an Automated External Defibrillator, oxygen and ancillary medical equipment such as bandages. Although they are fundamentally bikes, they are classed as emergency vehicles and as such employ blue lights and sirens to ensure that the general public are aware of their presence.
