Scott Bateman MBE
Looking back over the past decade or so I have spent much of my free time coming to the aid of complete strangers when they have been in need. I do not regret one single minute of the many hours that I have spent on call for the community. The opportunity to be in a position where you can truly make a real difference to somebody’s life is a real privilege which I am fortunate to be able to do. Like me every night hundreds of volunteers across the United Kingdom are doing the same giving a few hours to be available to give this “fast-aid” where it is required. Because we all care about making that little difference that could, and has, saved lives within our local area.
Should you feel that you would like to get involved as an operational member of the Charity or a support volunteer. Please take the time to read the appropriate description of the roles then making an enquiry about the role best suited to you should you or your community wish to get involved.
There is no better feeling than making a difference to the life of another and I would recommend and invite anyone to try it.
