Support Responder

Being an operational member of the Charity does not always appeal to everyone who wants to get involved. This is why the Charity offers a number of other alternatives for those who may wish to support their community. The Charity actively recruits volunteers to assist with those activities that are pivotal to the survival of a charity such as ours. These include but are not restricted to:

  • Fundraising
  • Administration Support
  • Recruiting and Interviewing

In some areas we can also offer the opportunity for volunteers to train as Emergency Despatch Staff who will activate their colleagues on the frontline responding to the 999 calls. These opportunities are currently limited and only those who show particular aptitude will be considered.

All support volunteers are Criminal Records Checked and will have an opportunity to expand their skills through a plethora of training opportunities should they wish to do so. They more you can give the more that you will get back. Should you be interested in getting involved in any of these roles then please contact the National Headquarters through the link below.

Due to the high number of applications that we receive for England, we are currently only recruiting for areas where there are current First Response Schemes. We are however creating new schemes in Scotland. Please check out the First Response locations map before applying. National First Response mapGoogle Map Marker
